Kevin Browett is the President of SCALE Education.
Kevin has an extensive background in senior operations and business development leadership with expertise across every aspect of operations, in startups and Fortune 500s. He is experienced in marketing, merchandising, finance, technology, and process improvement.
He has guided organizations through the process of change, focusing on defining a vision for markets, products/services, and business culture. Kevin is experienced in helping successful teams achieve clearly articulated goals.
Most recently, Kevin has worked at Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders as the CEO where he recruited to reinvent a 50-year-old medical practice for the changing healthcare environment M.I.N.D. had grown to be a $50 M dollar entity but lacked structure, process and sold business plan structure for the future. This required strong business leadership with a balance of doctor-owned decision making for long term stability and success. Kevin revamped the entire financial accounting system integrating all aspects as well as automating all from payroll to AR/AP to electronic linkages to our banks. While there, he also established the CARE TEAM model, this placed more structure around doctors being in a CARE TEAM with Nurse practitioners and Physician assistants. These CARE TEAM models allowed for more patient flow, shorter wait times and the NP/PA’s showed a 50% bottom line margin adding to the ROI for the practice.
Kevin is a member of the Board of Governors, Executive Committee, Treasurer, Chair of Finance Committee and Board of Trustees of Cranbrook Educational Community in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Additionally, he is on the Board of Directors of the School of Business at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA, and a founding member of Detroit Jewish News Foundation and currently its Vice President and Treasurer Kevin earned a Pharm D./Bachelor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA. He also Participated in numerous studies, Executive MBA Program, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA.
