Frances Scovil
Frances Scovil, Managing Director for Scale RCM.
Frances has more than 25 years experience leading operating teams through strategic transitions, with expertise in rapid growth, M&A integration and systems implementation. Since 2012 she has applied that experience to Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
She headed RCM for PSA Healthcare’s (now Aveanna’s) growing Pediatric Home Health business. There she accelerated Cash Flow setting a record for cash collections that stood for the next 5 years in this rapidly growing firm.
Immediately prior to joining Scale, Frances was Sr. Director, RCM at Kindred at Home (now CenterWell Home Health) the country’s largest Home Health provider with 450 branches in 35 states. There she established the company’s first RCM Strategy & Process Team including Training, QA & Process Improvement. Within months of her arrival she won management support for investing in new RCM platform and drove the selection effort. Frances also saw the need for a dedicated Escalations Team. Shortly after it was established, it doubled the reimbursement rate for Aetna across the company. Frances also managed collections for all fee-for-service payors nationwide.
Frances holds a BS Engineering from MIT, an MBA in Operations Management from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
