Our Client was interested in adding single specialty ASC to its portfolio beginning in Northeast Florida. SCALE’s unique compliment of leaders with experience in pro forma analysis and ambulatory surgery center development worked together to give our Client the best insight into likely performance while acting as a partner in development, funding and licensing.
SCALE successfully turned around an underperforming ASC for a 60+ provider group. By providing interim leadership, data analytics, and execution support, they addressed issues such as lacking management leadership, unstructured provider engagement, operational deficiencies, and insufficient actionable analytics. The results included a 64% increase in case volume, 67% increase in revenue, and the ASC achieving profitability in just three months. This turnaround demonstrated the effectiveness of SCALE’s plan and positioned the ASC for long-term success and growth.
SCALE was engaged by a client in the primary care specialty to improve their Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) performance. Through collaboration and data-driven changes, SCALE assessed and made recommendations for policy updates, procedure enhancements, workflow implementation, and the development of industry-standard KPIs. The results included increased accuracy in coding, reduced claim lag time, improved denials management, and decreased outstanding debt.
Overview – Our Client’s ASC failed their resurvey resulting in a robust POC, and thereby threating their AAAHC and MCR standing. SCALE was engaged to conduct a gap analysis of our Client’s ASC from an AAAHC and MCR perspective. Upon completion of the gap analysis, a workplan towards compliance was delivered to the Client and we were retained to educate and train staff on recommended workplan towards compliance with AAAHC and MCR requirements.
